Sang Shin is currently working as Advisory Solution Architect at VMware . He teaches variety of courses including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Cloud Data Flow, Spring Cloud technologies, Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes, etc. Before joining Pivotal/VMware, Sang Shin founded JPassion.com, which is the most popular learning site for software developers. Before founding JPassion.com, he was the lead Java technology architect and evangelist at Sun Microsystems. He frequently gives talks on various Java technologies such as Java EE, Java SE, Web application frameworks, Web services and SOA technologies to worldwide developer audience. He also gives talks on various other technologies such as "Groovy and Grails", "JavaScript", "Ruby on Rails", and MySQL. As an adjunct professor, he also used to teach software engineering courses in Brandeis university.
